UMBT Economic Development Committee

Mission Statement:     

To develop ideas and programs that will foster the growth of existing businesses, attract new commercial development and jobs,  and enhance the township’s tax base.

Our Vision

Promoting the economic interests of Upper Mount Bethel Township by fostering an accommodating economic environment and seeking intelligent economic growth for the benefit of our residents and businesses.  We will strive to promote our vision in a manner that seeks constructive community input and respects the rural beauty of our township.

Scott Cole

Chairman

Scott is a corporate CPA and a long-time resident of the township

John Bermingham Sr.

Vice- Chairman

John is a retired corporate leader, having served as CEO for several companies throughout his illustrious career. He is the Executive Director of the Slate Belt Chamber of Commerce.

Mike Kulicke

Secretary

Mike is a local business owner and has been active in promoting our township

Bob Schneider

Financial Guru

Bob is the former CFO of a major New York newspaper. He enjoys his retirement by working on the township budget committee  and the Economic  Development Committee.

Tiffany Hayward

Land and Building Expert

Tiffany is a realtor and is active on a State level working to mold legislation to improve the marketplace.  She is active on several township committees.

Stavros Barbounis

IT Expert

Stavros is an expert in computer systems, networking, and can cook a mean barbeque you won’t soon forget.  He is is active in the  Community Events  and Park Committee, respectively.

William "Bill" Hall

Economic Expert

Bill is a business executive with deep experience in assessing the competitive market, developing turnaround strategies, building high performance teams, and creating, developing, and repositioning brands and businesses.  Mr. Hall received a Bachelor’s Degree from Messiah College and a Masters Degree in International Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
